Last March, we opened the doors of The Hive with a simple hope: to bring beautiful flowers, thoughtful gifts, and a sense of warmth to our Newburyport community. One year later, we are filled with gratitude. We truly could not have imagined how much this first year would hold.
From the very beginning, your support has meant everything. You welcomed us into your celebrations, your traditions, and your everyday moments. Today, as we reflect on our first year in business, we want to say a heartfelt thank you for being part of our story.
Thank You for Supporting Us Through Every Season and Celebration
Over the past year, you have trusted us to be part of so many meaningful occasions. From Valentine’s Day and Easter to Mother’s Day, Thanksgiving, and the holiday season, your orders and visits have allowed us to play a small role in moments of connection and joy.
There is something truly special about knowing our flowers are present at your family gatherings, celebrations, and thoughtful gestures between friends. Being part of those memories is the reason we do what we do, and we are so grateful you chose The Hive for your most important occasions.
Floral Events & Weddings
We have also had the honor of designing for very special moments, including beautiful proposals, weddings, galas, showers & events. Being trusted with such meaningful occasions is something we never take for granted.
Looking ahead, we are excited to continue growing our wedding and event work. We are already booking weddings for Summer 2026, and we cannot wait to help bring more celebrations to life.
Creating New Traditions with “First Snow” Week
One of the highlights of our first year was the launch of our very first Christmas collection. During our special “First Snow” week, we unveiled seasonal arrangements, wreaths, and holiday gifts, and the response was beyond anything we expected.
The excitement, the festive spirit in the shop, and the wonderful support from our community made it a truly magical moment. We are already looking forward to making this a tradition for many years to come and growing our holiday offerings each season.
Connecting Through Floral Workshops
It’s been such a wonderful opportunity to connect with you in person through our workshops. From holiday wreath-making to Valentine’s Day bouquet design, these gatherings have been some of our favorite moments.
Sharing the techniques, tips, and creative joy behind floral design has been incredibly rewarding. More than anything, we have loved meeting so many of you, creating together, and building a community around a shared love of flowers.
We look forward to offering more workshops throughout the year and continuing to grow these creative experiences.
